Book and Eye Exam

If you already have a prescription from another doctor and you have not had any problems with it, you do not need to schedule an appointment. Make sure the prescription has not been expired (you can find the expiration date on the prescription). Simply bring it with you when you visit our store. Alternatively, we can call your doctor and have your prescription fax or email to us. If  your prescription is expired, you should have your eyes checked first before investing in new eyewear. 

Optometrists at Ukiah Optical operate independently. They do their own billing and have separate insurance policies. At this time our optometrists are out-of-network with most vision care plans other than those that require a referral. This means that you will pay the optometrist for the full cost of the exam. If your vision plan benefits include out-of-network benefits, we will submit an insurance claim for you so you can receive a reimbursement check.
